  • We have the skill and expertise to design, plan, and develop and deliver ecosystem restoration and rehabilitation projects. From wetland construction to streambank restoration to fish habitat design—we can help support and restore ecosystem services of natural systems to build resilience to climate change impacts and enhance biodiversity.

BLACK FLY ENVIRONMENTAL
  • Black Fly supports spill response efforts by managing and mitigating impacts to wildlife through species detection, rescue, and relocation, and the use of wildlife deterrents. Further, our team will characterize and classify wetlands and watercourses to identify sensitive environments that may be impacted.

BLACK FLY ENVIRONMENTAL
  • Our wildlife biologists and environmental planners collaborate to integrate wildlife considerations into land use plans such as Human-Bear Conflict Management Plans, Wildlife Interaction Plans, and Wildlife Management Plans. By promoting healthy and efficient use of land and water, these plans aim to balance the needs of wildlife species alongside other environmental, social, and economic considerations.

The careful management of human-wildlife interactions reduces the risk of negative outcomes—such as damage to property and agricultural production, collisions with vehicles, zoonotic diseases, and destruction of wildlife—and improves public safety.
